Transfer from Cardiff Airport to Cardiff Central by TRAIN/BUS
Cardiff Airport is located in Rhoose which has a rail link connecting to Cardiff Central. Trains run every hour from Monday to Saturday and every two hours on Sundays. A shuttle bus service from the train station to the Airport is available for passengers, which connects with all trains, to carry passengers on the short journey to the Airport terminal. The journey takes approximately 10 minutes and there is a small charge of £1 per journey on the shuttle bus.

There are a diverse range of providers available. However when Cardiff is hosting major sports events and concerts, hotels fill quickly, so booking in advance is strongly recommended.  Below are some suggestions used by our customers and include approximate walking distance to the tour start point, at the National Museum Cardiff.  If you travelling by taxi, suggest asking what the charge will be before the journey.
 
Clayton Hotel , Sleeperz Cardiff and Royal Hotel are near the train & bus station (20 minute walk approx to tour start point)

Sandringham Hotel located on St Mary's Street (main street) (15 minute walk approx to start point)

Marriot Hotel , Park Inn & Radisson Blu Hotel are near St Davids Shopping Mall (25 minute walk approx to tour start point)
 
Big Sleep (25 minute walk approx to tour start point)
 
Ibis Hotel & Premier Inn ( Churchill Way - 15 minute walk approx)

Angel Hotel  & Holiday Inn are both opposite Cardiff Castle (10 minute walk approx to tour start point)

Riverhouse Backpackers ( overlooks Principality Stadium- 15 minute walk approx to tour start point)

Hilton Hotel, Park Plaza & Jury Inn Cardiff (formerly Parc Thistle Hotel) are near the Castle & shops ( only 5 minute walk approx to tour start point)

Future Inns & St Davids Hotel are both located south of the city in Cardiff Bay ( furthest from the tour start point and either 15 minute taxi or bus ride) 
 
Church Guest House, Dexby Town House  Town House, Lincoln Hotel & Number 62 are all located on Cathedral Road - (Victorian period located north of the city - its a fairly long road so walking time various from 15-25 minute walk)
